Governors Private Safari Camp has all the assets of an individually tailored mobile safari, with the added bonus of the highly specialized experience and backup of Governors Camp. The professional and well-established infrastructure that operates behind the scenes makes it possible for the organization, to offer the full services and facilities of Governors' Camp to Governors' Private Camp throughout the year.

Governors' Private Camp is located in the Masai Mara, in a unique area with a constant and unrivalled flow of wildlife throughout the year. From July to October the Mara becomes a backdrop for one of the last great natural wonders of the world, when over 1.4 million wildebeest and zebra surge up from the Tanzania's Serengeti plains in their annual search for the seasonal grasses that sustain them. The spectacle as the vast herds cross rivers and sweep through the golden grasses is punctuated by individual struggles with the predators, which are in turn drawn to take their part in this dramatic event. Birds and butterflies abound, elephants wander through the camp at night, leopard's call nearby. Nowhere else can you get so far from civilization, yet stay in such style.

Accommodation
The tents are luxurious with handmade furniture. Private bathrooms have flush-toilets, hot showers, with crystal-clear water whenever you wish.

Meals and Relaxation
The food is delicious; the desserts have been called "sinful", and the drinks all free, except for champagne. Meals are served on fine china and crystal. You can even tailor your own menus with the Executive Chef.
